- Well, Kurt is jail.. not sure what their "plan B" is if Kurt can't show at the PPV (Have Sting show up with the title and claim he beat Kurt at a house show?) But either way I'm hoping Morgan wins the belt

As reported earlier, Kurt Angle, top TNA wrestler was arrested on these charges:
* Driving while operating privileges suspended
* Prohibited acts
* Possession
* Harassment
Many questions were raised over whether Angle, scheduled to defend his TNA Titla tomorrow at their PPV, Hard Justice, would be able to fulfill this match after all.
It seems now, according to the source, that Angle has posted bail and been released, so he will be able to compete tomorrow.
More to follow, as updates become available.
SOOO.. I'M TOTALY THINKING THEY'LL HAVE ANGLE DROP THE BELT TO STING OR MORGAN IF HE WASN'T GOING TO DO THAT ALREADY. I MEAN, SAME DEAL WITH WHEN RVD HAD TO DROP HIS TITLE, RIGHT?

I'm hoping. I mean, he did come from WWE, but he wasn't anything in WWE.. Kurt Angle was a "Main" WWE guy and Sting was a "main" WCW guy. Morgan isn't an TNA "orignal", but they gave him his big break more or less, and Morgan is more TNA than he is WWE, where people like Booker T, Kurt, Sting, Foley, ect, you still thing of the other places first. Honestly the Main event mix in TNA SHOULD be something like: Chris Daniles, Abyss, A.J. Styles, Samoa Joe, Hernedez, and I guess Morgan, making Morgan the only "WWE" guy.. I guess though, you could say AJ is a "WCW" guy and Joe is an "ROH" guy by my logic.. lol.

i toattly Expect them to keep the belt on kurt. they're just the company who would do that and like make the arrest part of a storyline where Kurt Brawls with people and goes too far and gets arrested.

I'm so disillusioned. Morgan: I don't think Angle will retain with his "stuff" going on, and I don't think they will give it to sting again so soon. Plus, he can then be legitimately in the Mafia. Steiner & Booker: I don't think 3D will get another title so soon to add to their dynasty. Joe: I think TNA is building to the MEM holding all the gold. And Joe hasn't had the X title for a while. ODB: I think this will setup a future program between Traci Brooks and ODB. Asylum: Either Suicide, Daniels (And it is so lame that they dropped the fallen angel Christopher Daniels moniker) or Deniro... I'm really torn in this one. British Invasion: I think that the Brits will retain, and we will see Beer Money going after Booker & Steiner for the Tag belts that matter. Hernandez: There is a lot of buzz about Hernandez, and I don't think Rob is really where TNA wants a title match. I've only seen him in one match since the Brits came to TNA (correct me if I'm wrong). Abyss: I don't think they are going to have Abyss lose to someone who is essentially a jobber, like Murdoch/Holliday. |

The Nash/Foley match was suprisingly good.. as was 3D vs Booker/Steiner.. I don't think Scott hears "This is Awesome" very much, lol..

I was saying that "The New Champs are Steiner and Devon!" and my wife assured me that my finish I came up with was WAY cooler than the finish that happened. She was also disgusted with the finish of the main event, beliving the reason Hebner was taking so long to get into the ring was so that Morgan would kick out. I was also disappointed in that match.. Also, she turned her head and stopped watching the Foley/Nash match after Blood from Foley splashed onto the camera. She was in the other room doing other stuff for the rest of the PPV.. but.. it was pretty good considering on paper it didn't look like it was going to be very good. I like how Velvet Sky's butt was still red durring the whole match after the ten count spanks in the corner..  .. lets see.. Hernedaz match was a joke.. it was cool as hell to have Abyss come out with Foley! I have been waiting for something to happen with those two! I figured they'd fight.. but.. maybe Abyss (w/Foley) can take on Joe (w/Tazz). I guess Joe has got Daniels to watch out for.. |
