The scene opens in the MWA arena where two local tag teams are having the opening match on Thursday Throwdown. Jake and Luke, the suffer themed team called the Wave Riders, and Tony Marnia and Sal Marnia, an street tough Italian brother team, the Super Marnia Brothers.
Justin Cole - Great top rope drop kick by Luke. Right on target!
Garret Rogers - Tony better tag out to Sal, he’s in big trouble!
Suddenly the fans stand up and start to boo as Scott Smith comes lumbering down to the ring, followed by Mason.
Garret Rogers - Speaking of big trouble..
Scott slides into the ring. He quickly gets to his feet as Luke and Tony stop in the ring and look at him. Suddenly Scott chargers and knocks both men down with clotheslines. Sal gets in the ring and runs at Scott, but Scott backdrops Sal into the air, and Mason catches Sal with a powerbomb on the way down. Jake gets on the top rope and leaps off at Scott. Scott catches Jakes and slams him onto the mat with a powerslam.
Garret Rogers - Look at the carnage! Bodies are everywhere!
Scott Smith - NOW, do we have everyone’s attention?
The fans boo.
Scott Smith - Let me tell you people something. Me and Mason are sick and tired of being over looked and disrespected by referees, fans, and the front office. I know I’m ready to make an impact. See, the Empire has one loose end that we need to tie up. Me and Mason are going to take care of that next week, and you’ll all find out what it is. But in the meantime, we are going to get nice and warmed up when we take down the Extreme Regime on Monday. Lance Jade and Lex Largon.. You guys might be running the show, but the Empire is going to ruin your night! And after that, Kevin is going to win himself a shot at the World Title.. Can you feel it? Power is going to shift. Forget about the Regime, forget about Takeover.. The Empire is going to rule the world!
Justin Cole - Those are not my first three choices for who should be in control.. It’s like a turf war between rival gangs and the MWA is stuck in the middle as the battle ground!!!
