Scene starts with Sara Sanderson outside a locker room with her back to the door blocking the name plate on the door, she is looking over her notes and looks up at the camera and realizes that filming has started. She quickly drops the cards and moves away from the door which now lets us see the nameplate on the door, THE EMPIRE. Sara appears to be nervous and raises the mic to her mouth.
Sara: Sara Sanderson here and I am about to begin week two of our MWA Weekly segment, last week we began this new segment with current MWA Champion Rod Lightning, next up is the stable The Empire, consisting of Kevin "Hitman" Mitchell, Mason and Scott Smith.
Cameraman: Are you sure you want to do this now? We all know Mitchell has a bad temper and after being made to tap to Keith Jacobs he won't be in the best of moods.
Sara quickly signals the cameraman to be quiet and quietly says.
Sara: I know that but J.J told me to get the interview done with all them, Scott and Mason will keep him quiet but we don't want to take any chances do we.
The door is swung open and Mason in his wrestling gear appears on camera
Mason: Hey Sara, what do we owe this pleasure.
Sara: Hi, I am here to do the next part of MWA Weekly and The Empire was chosen to be the next entry.
Mason appears pleased with this.
Mason: Great we are all here so why don't you guys come on in.
Mason opens the door and invites Sara and the cameraman inside. We can now see the layout of the locker room, the first thing anyone will notice when walking in is the Union Jack on the far wall with Empire stitched across the middle of the flag. The room also consists of a shower area, a couple of benches and some lockers. Mitchell and Smith both have their ring attire on as well, while Smith seems relaxed Mitchell has a not to happy expression on his face.
Mason: Guys, Sara is here to do the next part of MWA Weekly, see Hunter is starting to notice us.
Sara: So how do you guys want to do this? Shall we do it as a group or shall I do each of you separately?
Empire (Mitchell included) all burst into laughter, Sara seems to realize what she said and blushes.
Sara: Let me rephrase that..
Mitchell cuts her off
KHM: Don't bother Sara, as long as I get to go first.
Mason and Smith continue to laugh and Sara manages a weak smile.
Sara: OK. Mitchell, you have been here longer than the other members of the Empire and have proving yourself over the last few seasons to be one of the best in MWA. Can you tell us a little about yourself and your beginnings?
KHM: Why not, I grew up in a big family on the east coast of Scotland in a city called Dundee, I spent my child hood playing football and watching wrestling. As I grew up I realized that my passion in life lay in wrestling so I took up amateur wrestling when I was in my early teens. I always enjoyed watching the technical wrestlers on T.V instead of the high flyer's or the power houses.
Sara: So why didn't you ever compete in British side for the Olympics or other events?
KHM: Simple, I wasn't good enough, hard as that was to take, I continued to try and prove my worth until I couldn't handle losing all the time, then one day a promoter for a British company told me I had potential in the pro side of wrestling and offered me a chance to come and train with his company, so I gave up on the amateur side of the business and moved into the pro wrestling.
Sara: Luckily for us you made the right call, how is it then that you came over to America?
KHM: After a year or two training in the UK I was getting alot of offers from different companies and the one I started with went bust and I didn't want to go to another UK one, so one of the headliners there told me North America would be a good place for me to realize my potential and says Michigan would be the place to start as it is right next to Canada so if America didn't work out I could just go north of the border.
Sara: How is then that you ended up here in MWA?
KHM: I was told by my buddy that when I arrived I should contact J.J Hunter who he knew from back in the day as he put it and said to mention his name and ask for a chance. At first I thought he was pulling my leg but as luck would have it J.J knew the guy I worked with and offered me a chance to show my worth and you can guess what happened from there?
Sara nods
Sara: Since you have been here you have won the Canadian title on two occasions and won the World War singles event, in your opinion what was the bigger achievement?
KHM: World War without question, I defeated Ebio to advance in the first round and become a two time Canadian champion, then defended the title against Marcus Kaine in the next round then even defeated the champ Rod Lightning in the final in a champion vs champion match.
Sara: So would you say that was your favorite match so far in your career then?
KHM: Without a doubt, the first ever champion vs champion match to claim who was the best in the MWA and to prove that the UK produced the better wrestlers. Just me and him no one interfered, no bad refereeing just me and him.
Sara: So what does the future hold for you know then?
KHM: To be World Champion Sara and to have Empire totally dominate the MWA with out anyone else, we will wipe out the takeover and the Extreme regime and once again prove that Britain has the best athletes this company has to offer.
Sara: Being one of the founders of the Empire how is it that this stable came to be?
KHM: Simple I noticed Mason in the new blood tournament and realized that we were very similar, under appreciated athletes who lived by British values and weren't afraid to show our love for our country, so we quickly began talking and when I was invited on the Mason Man Challenge we knew the time was right for us to join forces. Not long after Scott arrived and we knew right from the start he would be a perfect addition to our group.
Sara seems relieved that Mitchell has kept his cool and quickly wraps up his part of the interview
Sara: Great thanks for your time Mitchell, so who wants to go next?
Sara's response is meet with more laughter from the trio.
*Didn't want to write everyones part so Mason, Scott one of you guys are next up*
