*Sara Sanderson knocks on the door to a nondescript locker room then after being given permission enters the room. Inside Lance "the Wolf" Jade is working over a heavy bag*
Sara: Hello Lance.
Lance: Oh! Hey Sara. What can I do fer ya?
Sara: I'm here for the weekly...
Lance: Oh! Right, Right! Sorry I forgot that was this week. Mind if I keep training while we do this?
Sara: I guess that's okay... A lot of people want to know more about you so first question: How did you get started in the business?
Lance: I guess it would have to be because of my Uncle. His name is "Black" Jack Derringer. Growing up I often watched him in his matches. When he retired he opened a wrestling school with a couple of other wrestlers he knew and I joined up.
Sara: That's interesting. Where you an athlete before you got into the business?
Lance: Yeah. I played football in High School and College. I also wrestled in college. I figured those sports would help when I decided joined the wrestling school.
Sarah: So how did you get discovered for the MWA?
Lance: I was working part time as a bouncer in a bar when I was "discovered", but in reality my being an MWA wrestler was a done deal long before I actually finished my training. See Uncle Jack had this friend who he would sometimes team with by the name of J.J. Hunter. Well one day J.J. came by for a visit while I was training. He liked what he saw and it was a done deal from there.
Sarah: People have been asking but why did you decide to join the Extreme Regime?
Lance: There are a lot of answers I could give. Most of them would be wrong. For example, despite what some people might think I didn't join the Regime to Ripley's career. Nor did I join because I wanted someone to watch my back. I joined because they just happened to ask me to and just happen to be a dominant force in the MWA. I mean look at them! Ritter and X are one of the best tag teams out there today. Ultimate Killer is completely hardcore and Lex Largon is just a wrecking machine. It was only natural that J.J. when he was assembling his dream team put me in it.
Sarah: Let's go back and discuss what happened with Brandon Ripley.
Lance: *Sighs and begins to beat the heavy bag harder* If we must...
Sarah: How did it feel to know your actions helped end his career?
Lance: Ya know, I get tired of being asked that. What happened ta Ripely was an accident. I didn't want ta end his career. Can tell ya that I feel bad about it but people like Charolotte Hunter and Falco Fusion won't believe it. No one in this business wants to see another person lose their career because of something the did.
Sara: I see speaking of Falco Fusion you and he had a great match at All or nothing.
Lance: *smiles* Yeah I suppose we did. The only thing I had a problem with in that match was that Falco made it personal. That's something that I can't say I agree with. I'm not really one fer handing out advice ta others but I think Falco need ta rethink things. Yeah I replaced Ripley in the Regime. Yeah I was part of the reason Ripley ended up out of the business. But I look at it like this: Charolotte Hunter uses people. If given a chance she would have used up her old friend Ripley and the Regime all to get what she wanted. She'll use up Falco too, if he lets her.
Sarah: Let's talk about the Canadian title...
Lance: Okay. What about it?
Sarah: Well it's your first title in MWA. How does it feel to be Champ?
Lance: It feels pretty good. However I look at it as a first step in my career. I mean this title has been held by a person it might surprise you to know I respect: Kevin Mitchell.
Sarah: You respect Kevin Mitchell? I thought just a few weeks ago you sent a message to him via the Empire!
Lance: I did. I actually was sending two messages that night though. The first was the straightforward one: Empire's crumble. The other was that Mitchell doesn't need Mason or Scott Smith and certainly he didn't come down to save them from me when I attacked them. If I were Mason and Smith I'd be wondering about that.
Sarah: Well Lance thank you for that...enlightening inerview. I'll let you get back to your training. *Sarah leaves*
