Mason is sitting in the locker room waiting for his extreme warfare match. He is watching a DVD of MWA: Extreme Warfare.
Mason: Jesus Christ. I'm going to die out there.
Rod Lightning walks past. Mason calls out for him.
Mason: Lightning! Lightning!
Rod turns around and greets Mason.
Rod: Why don't you just call me Rod? Everyone else does.
Mason: Ok, okay, whatever. I want to know what the hell should i do in my, our match tonight?
Rod: The answer to that is simple. Go in their and win.
Mason: It's not that simple. I'm.... I'm..... I'm scared alright.
Rod bursts out laughing.
Mason: This is'nt funny. I'm going to die out there. I know it.
Rod: Listen. You are not going to di....
Mason: Yes i am. Not only have i got four of the best in MWA against me, i also have that Ritter guy "on my side". I mean, i can't even trust my allies. I can't even trust you!
Rod slaps Mason in the face.
Rod: Look Mason, Lance choose us to represent the MWA originals. I know it seems odd to team up with the likes of the regime, hell its odd for me to team up with you! I mean, everybody knows i don't get along too well with the empire...Now prove to us that you can go out there and take a sledgehammer to the head, arm or maybe even the groin...and turn this crap off
Rod grabs the remote and turns off the tv which was showing Bloodbath on fire and in mid-air.
Mason: You're right Rod. YOU ARE RIGHT! I mean i'm a hero. Not some wimp like you. I am the man. I am the man.
Mason walks out as he keeps repeating the words "I am the man". Rod is left standing.
Rod: 10 bucks he's gonna die out there
The scene ends.
