The scene opens up backstage with Lex Largon sitting on a couch that sticks out like a sore thumb with its maroon colour. Not to mention that it sits boldly in the way of staff and crew. Occupying the halls in front of a janitors closet. A tall shaded lamp accompanies the mess along with a small coffee table. A six pack of beer sits atop the table right next to Lex's pride and joy the MWA world championship. A few moments pass of extreme silence with Lex literally zoning out into nothingness. Until a generic Mario brothers ring tone calls out. Lex breaks his stare and quickly riffles through his pockets finally retrieving the phone from his back pocket, Lex answers.
Lex:......Hello?........Whats up?........No i don't think............well yeah but..............Yes, grandma i get it................I know sending you a picture of Macho Steele's face was a bad idea........then why did i do it?................I don't know.....i was bored?....Hey you should see him in person dude needs to poor some water on his face. It looks like a leather water mellon.........Yeah, yeah....no....no....i love you to grandma.......yeah, really.......yes!.......you know what you're breaking up goodbye!
Lex snaps his phone shut and slumps back, sinking into the couch. Just as Lex kicks his feet up J.J Hunter trips over a power cord into frame and face plants right in front of Lex, a huge ear to ear smile breaks out over Lex' face as J.J slowly staggers to his feet.
J.J: Who in the hell put this here?!?!?!
Lex: That would be me, you mind plugging the lamp back in. You're really taking away from the feel i had going.
J.J: What are you doing out here?, don't you have a locker room to clutter up?
Lex: Yes, as a matter of fact i do. But you can't watch the janitor get pissed off in the locker room. Out here you can, not to mention the fact that I'm blocking the closet. It's really rich,
J.J has a puzzled look on his face as he shakes his head and finishes dusting himself off. Just as J.J is about to leave Lex stops him.
Lex: Hey, J.J aren't you gunna plug the lamp back in?
J.J gives him a roll of the eyes and moves on.
Lex: Son of a....Lovely little thing!
The words that splash out of Lex's mouth confuse most of the surrounding, including: the crowd and crew. Then suddenly, a young woman. That can't be any older than 24. Walks into sight and sits down on Lex's lap. Lex is gob-smacked with his attention more toward the chest area of the woman then her eyes.
Lex: How can i help you two this fine evening?
Woman: You can tell me where you get off with out visiting me for the better part of 16 years.
Lex: Brandy?
Woman: You got it.....
Lex pushes the young woman off his lap and quickly backs up brushing off his lap frantically.
Brandy: What are you doing?
Lex: Well, your dad would kill me if he knew i let you sit on my lap. I mean he would pull out all the stops. Hang me from a tree and run into me with my own car.
Just then a man walks into frame. His hair long, but pulled back into a pony tail. Grey hairs cover most of the mans head with some brown peeking through here and there. The man picks Brandy off the ground and sets her on the couch. Then he Saunters over to Lex. The look on Lex's face is priceless with his jaw dropping damn near to the floor.
Man: Long time no see my good friend. I see you decided to keep the mane of facial hair, now here i was thinking it was just a phase.
Lex:....Yeah.......
Man: Look, Lex.....i ain't gunna bite.....come over here and hug me you old bastard.
Lex: you're one to talk.....
Lex slowly moves over to the man and they hug in a brotherly manner.
Lex: So, Chris. What brings you to MWA after all these years?
Chris: Well, I'm here to see my once best friend and tag partner kick some ass thats what I'm here for. Besides, Brandy is looking into wrestling schools around the area.
Lex: Oh?, thats cool i guess.
Chris: Yes, cool indeed. Man Lex you haven't changed a bit. Although you do have some Grey's coming in now a' days
Lex chuckles softly and slowly grabs a wool cap from his back pocket and slides it on top of his head.
Lex: Yeah.......um, so thats all you're here for?
Chris: No, no.....thats not all I'm here to make you an offer. But we can talk about that later. I know you've got a title defense tonight. I'll be watching you champ, Take care.
Chris motions for his daughter Brandy and she quickly follows. As the two leave,Brandy makes a seductive motion toward Lex. In turn his eyes widen as the scene fades, many thoughts seem to be running through Lex's mind.
