A crack of thunder is heard in the arena, then "Rip It Up" by Jet starts playing. The lighting changes to a green and gold theme.
Aerith Sinclair: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome... Fabz Jones!
Fabz Jones walks out to the stage, wearing a title belt with the Australian flag.As he walks down the aisle, high-fiving the fans...
Justin Cole: Well MWA fans, here's the first of the international stars to be introduced to the roster, Fabz Jones. He's made quite a name for himself in Australia, and we're very lucky to have him here with us tonight. He's a 12-time Australian champion, and a 5-time Australasian champion.
Garret Rogers: Yeah, but who does he think he is wearing a title belt? He hasn't earned anything here yet!
Justin Cole: Well he's got a microphone so why don't we hear what he has to say...
Jones is now in the ring, and signals for the music to finish. For some reason there's a trash can sitting in one of the corners of the ring. There's a very small chant from somewhere in the crowd of "Jones... Jones... Jones...", which stops as Jones starts to speak...
Fabz Jones: Well g'day Kalamazoo!
The crowd cheers loudly
Fabz Jones: I am Fabz Jones. Now some of you are probably wondering how it is that you've not seen me wrestle yet, and I've already got a title belt around my waist. Which is fair enough. There are plenty of great wrestlers out the back. But this title belt's a little different to the others you'll see. You see, back home in Australia, I'm the Champ. I've been holding this title for longer than anyone else has before. There just aren't any big enough challenges for me there anymore.
As he says this, he goes over to the trash can and pulls it to the centre of the ring. He takes the belt from around his waist and puts it over his shoulder.
Fabz Jones: And that's why I'm here. I need a challenge. And I know I'm going to get one here. Whether it's tonight, next week, next month or next year... I will challenge for the MWA World Title. But before I can do that, there's a stipulation in my contract that I have to carry out first...
He holds up his title belt, gives it a kiss, then drops it in the trash can, to the cheers of the crowd. "Rip It Up" plays through the arena again as Jones drops the microphone, goes to the corner closest to where the chanting was coming from before, climbs to the middle turnbuckle. He calls out "Aussie Aussie Aussie...", and gets a response from that section of the crowd "Oi Oi Oi!". He repeats this a couple more times, getting a louder response from more of the crowd each time.
Justin Cole: Well it looks like Fabz Jones has got a few more fans now than when he walked out here a few moments ago...
