Entrance: "Cocky" by Kid rock starts to play as the words "No Flash.. No Flare.. SIMPLY WRESTLING!" flash up on the tron. "Simply Electrifying" Blake Parish & Mr. Wrestling IV walk out and stand at the top of the ramp for a moment. They then make their way down the ramp, Parish a few feet in front with some bounce in his step. Mr Wrestling walking more calmly, more regally. Both slapping the hands of fans as they move towards the ring.
Parish waits at the bottom step, rolling his neck and shoulders. He walks up the steps, wipes his feet and enters over the second rope, holding it as a sign of great respect for Mr Wrestling, who wipes his feet, and then enters. Parish then runs at the opposite ropes, bounces off and stops mid-ring to do another Orton arm raise, as Mr Wrestling removes his robes then stretches and swings his arms.
History and/or Bio: The team known as "Simply Wrestling" began at the Massachusetts State Wrestling Championships, where a young Blake Parish won the state title in his freshman year of college. Still dizzy from the thrill of victory, Parish was approached by a man insisting that his future was Professional Wrestling. This man convinced Blake to attend a Training camp
being run by the legendary Terry & Dory Funk. It was here that Parish discovered his natural talent and athleticism for pro wrestling, even earning the nickname "Simply Electrifying" when Terry was heard to say "this kid is the most electrifying.." and his brother cut him off with "No.. He's Simply Electrifying". After completing the camp, Parish made a lot of contact, including the man he met at the state championships... Mr. Wrestling IV.
While he knew his future laid in the square circle, Blake felt he need to finish college, a view shared by Mr. Wrestling. The next 3 years, the pair spent training and competing in local promotion. Blake would spend his weeks studying and learning, Mr Wrestling would scout matches for their weekends and perform solo where he could. The two of them made quite a name for themselves as tag team wrestlers, though Mr. Wrestling was quite an accomplished singles performer, they never got the recognition they deserved.
It was only after Blake's graduation that they were able to travel more freely, competing more and honing their skills. It was during a match in the Detroit area where MWA promoter JJ Hunter found the pair and knew they were the kind of superstars to take his federation to the heights of the industry, signing them to contracts on the spot. They went on to be the company's first ever Tag Team Champions.
