As the scene opens, Kittie and a boy her age are walking up to the MWA arena. Instead of her usual punk rock/gothic look, Kittie is instead wearing her school uniform. The boy is dragging several bags of luggage behind him.
Boy: Do you really need all this stuff.
Kittie sighs, rolls her eyes, and shakes her head.
Kittie: YES. You’d be surprised at the kind of things you need to bring on the road with you. I need to be prepared for any situation. You said you wanted to meet some of the MWA stars, but all you have been doing is complaining non-stop.
Boy: Well, I didn’t know that in exchange for getting the opportunity to meet said “MWA stars” that I would be your slave.
Kittie: You’re not my slave Kazuya..
Kazuya: You have me carrying all your bags, doing your homework, and going to your house to do your chores.
Kittie: Fine. Deal is off then. I’ll just tell Rod Lightning and Brandon Ripley and Kevin Mitchell and Ebio and everyone else that you would have rather stayed home and w..
Kazuya: Ok, ok. You win. What the hell is in these bags anyway?
Kittie: I’ve decided it’s time to lighten up a little bit.
Kittie and the boy walk down the hallways backstage into the locker rooms.
Kazuya: Lighten up? Is that a joke?
Kittie: It’s a lot of work being dark, depressed, and cryptic all the time. I think I’m out of that phase.
Kazuya: It was a phase?!?
Kittie: I wasn’t happy with my life. I came to MWA and you know what? This is what I want to do. I’m happy now. Being an angry outcast punk isn’t “me” anymore. It doesn’t’ fit me and my mood and where I’m at in my life right now. How ironic is it that I started in MWA because I was angry and depressed all the time, but because of MWA I’m not anymore?
Kazuya: Yeah, but what is in the bags?
Kittie: I think I’m going to do something different with my ring attire. Black dressed, combat boots, and spikes are out. I’m going to do a different costume for every show. I still make all my ring attire myself from scratch of course. Just now it’s lighter and brighter. I think I’ll start out as a sailor scout. Most people have heard of sailor moon, right? That’s not too obscure to start out with, even if I’m not one of the main scouts.
Kazuya: Are you taking this less seriously now then?!? Do you realize you are fighting the Empire this week? Have you SEEN those guys in action? They are no joke. This isn’t play time. This is serious.
Kittie: Are you lecturing me? What do you know? You only know what you see on TV! I’ve been living this for month. I know what I’m doing. I am taking this seriously. I’m taking my tag team match seriously. I’m just going to have some fun along the way, because if your job isn’t fun then you need to find a new line of work. Now get out of here, I have to change.
Kazuya: How come you get such a big locker room?
Kittie: Because this is the girl’s locker room and there aren’t any girls here. Now get out of here so I can change.
Kazuya: When do you get to meet some of your “co-workers”?
Kittie: As soon as I get around to hunting some of them down. Now give me some privacy please!!!
Kittie shoves Kazuya out of the room and slams the door in his face.
